Movement

All of TLC Montessori’s students participate in structured physical activities in a small group setting on a weekly basis. The activities are designed to build small and large muscle groups, coordination, develop listening skills, teamwork, and build confidence.

Music

TLC Montessori’s music teacher engages all the children in singing, listening, and playing instruments. The fun, interesting activities designed for your child motivate expressive music making and build their musical vocabulary. Your child is introduced to musical elements such as pitch, tempo, dynamics, duration, and timbre. These elements are built into singing games, multicultural action songs, and movements. Also, included in the music program are all school Winter and Spring Concerts.

Foreign Language

TLC Montessori’s foreign language program provides all children with the opportunity to speak, listen, and learn how to make simple, easy conversations. Our weekly foreign language class introduces your child to words and phrases used in everyday life, such as numbers, riddles, poems, and songs.
